Admyrin x AB

The festivities came with a hella crazy bang this year! Earlier it was mostly about the one Diwali day where our parents used to dress us up in lehengas, we would stuff our faces with kaju barfi and engage in the firecracker session till late hours with our cousins. But of course today it has become about being with your family that you gained along the way as well (and card parties Teehee!). I’m talking about friends by the way and this year I was bombarded with Diwali parties and all sorts of ethnic-themed gatherings. So what’s a girl to do about keeping the theme in mind!? ADMYRIN!
Your one-stop shop for all festivities and shaadi season attires, Admyrin is one of my favourite e-tailing sites to shop from (especially this time of the year *SAVIOUR!*).
The site has impeccable collection of gorgeous embroidered lehengas to embellished salwar suits to printed sarees. Not to mention lace, zari, patch work, celebrity-inspired and lots more.
I wanted to stick to a more natural and soft palette so I went with a beautiful lemon & eggplant purple combination for one look.  Another one I opted for was, a washed-out grey is blue with matt gold work. My third look was an anarkali in pista green shade with minimal work on it, just the way I like it. I kept the look very classy with just a pair of drop earrings or jhumkas, some bangles and a purple or red lipper. The fourth and fifth looks are casual yet comfortable. Comment and let me know which look you loved the most!
Design aside, the fabric, the fit and the work on all my ensembles was beyond expectation. Admyrin is definitely a keeper.

TRADITIONAL RUNWAY: PART-1

Yallooo peeps,

This post is a collaboration post with admyrin but let me clear a few things. My reviews are honest and I write what I genuinely feel, so i will be doing this in two parts. This is the first one and will soon post the second one, so don’t forget to checkout both the blogs and my videos on Instagram.

Firstly lets just talk about the brand. What the brand is all about? Where is it from? What kind of variety do they have? and other stuff related to the brand. The brand is called ADMYRIN and it majorly deals in traditional attires and have a huge range of ethnic wear like saree, lehenga, suit-salwar, churidar, indo-western outfits and a lot more. The product quality is quite applaudable at reasonable prices. Its based in Surat and ships worldwide. I will leave the link of the website at the end so don’t forget to check that out.

LOOK-1

I am wearing this beige beauty with a contrast of black. A small disclaimer here, all the sarees comes with their blouse pieces which is a yaay! It has this beautiful gold border on both the sides and light geometric print all over it. Its a full length saree, so if you are on a heavier side that’s completely fine, it will fit you beautifully. This one is very simple and formal kind of saree, not too fancy and that’s why I like it even more, because sometimes less is more.

dsc_02111

The best part of this piece is its simplicity you can accessorize it the way you want. You can go crazy and pair it up with big chunky jhumka’s or kada’s. While keeping your makeup nude, you can play with the accessories and jazz up the whole look.

img_20161022_2135061
I teamed it up with gold earrings and a golden color bangle for a formal look. I have put a black bindi here to add that extra spice to the outfit and i love it. I am also wearing my reflectors to get that swag on fleek. Lastly a hint of red and heels complete my look.

LOOK-2

In my second look I am wearing this blue colored saree with multi-color embroidery which goes all over the pallu, something that really caught my attention. This saree seems to be a maharastrian style saree to me because of its work. It also has this champagne color border on all the sides of the saree. Please just ignore that elastic headband in my hand. This saree is a pure stunner and I like the color combination and the work on it too.

dsc_02361

For accessories I am wearing a gold necklace which has a marathi touch to it. To look like a marathi girl, I am wearing same pattern earrings, a maroon bindi obviously, my white heels and this rusty gold hand cuff to complete my look.

dsc_02411
I  really love how this look turned out, absolutely in love with this one! This quarter sleeves blouse is totally apt for this fall season and i prefer these kind of over cut sleeves. You should check out this one as it is fun to wear and is a versatile piece.

dsc_02911

LOOK-3

This is the third one in which I am wearing this gorgeous sea green saree with aqua blue border. This combination is so beautiful for a summer day out. These colors are nothing less than an eye-tonic. Its made up of silk and is draped beautifully. This combo is very unique and very appealing too.

dsc_03091

This saree is plain with broad borders, just the way I like it to be! I liked the fact that its simple and doesn’t have those sparkly embellishments which makes wearing saree even more tougher. The colors are popping out very well and complimenting each other.

1_311
Coming to the accessories part, I am so much into silver jewellery pieces these days. So I paired this with beautiful silver neckpiece, earrings, bindi, heels and this metallic hand cuff to complete the look.

LOOK-4

Pinkieee-pooo hahahaha! so this pinky has my heart, because it is pink and that says it all. This is a beautiful fuschia pink color saree which has broad borders which is very good and it looks stunning. This color can glam you up easily without much accessories.

dsc_02581

Coming back to the details, the border has a beautiful shine to it which is not over the top. Its quite decent and I love it. Actually I love every bit of it that’s why I choose admyrin because they have really amazing stuff.

dsc_02751

I am wearing these gold bangles and my current obsession-BINDI, how can I forget that! Wearing gold wedges to match the look and voa’lla I am done with my look.

dsc_03542

LOOK-5

Last but not the least. I am wearing this orange color saree with pink detailing to it. I never imagined that this color would ever suit me but see how gorgeous it looks. This saree has the beautiful balance of colors and is made up of cotton. If i am not wrong, it is good for your skin because it absorbs your sweat and keeps you dry, making summers sorted!

dsc_00321

This pink and orange saree needs no description. It has beauty of its own and it gives that old school charm, which I really liked. This saree also has these beautiful gold geometric lines all over, making it different but all in all it looks really nice!

dsc_00051

For accessories part I am wearing my choker which is one of the biggest trends of the season and earrings with a swipe of pink lipstick. Lastly a orange bindi to complete the look. With that note I am done with this part will be back soon with the remaining one.

See how easily you can dress up and rock this wedding season. Hope you all liked it. If you did so please give it a thumbs-up and don’t forget to like, share and comment down below. I shall see you soon, till then stay gorgeous!

The Indian Wedding Season: The Grand Wedding Ceremony

Now that all the pre-wedding rituals and functions are done with, it’s time for that day every girl wait’s for. Yes, the wedding ceremony.

Weddings can be conducted in different styles. There are beautiful beach weddings, spectacular lawn weddings and then there are marvelous weddings in huge air-conditioned halls. In addition, the kind of wedding preparations varies caste to caste. There are Bengali wedding, Muslim weddings, Hindu weddings, and Punjabi weddings etc, which all differ in the celebration. Whichever wedding you are looking forward to attend, one thing will be in common: Most of the people will be dressed in heavy Indian traditional dresses like lehenga cholis, sarees, salwar kameez, traditional gowns etc.

People usually spend a fortune on the heavy attires for the wedding function. However here on Admyrin, you can own unwasteful and elegant dresses without burning a hole in your pocket. You can select a salwar kameez for a friend’s wedding or maybe a saree for your best friends wedding. However, if you are comfortable and in good shape, then nothing can beat the look of a lehenga choli on the wedding function. Every piece that you will see below are thoughtfully designed so that no matter what body shape, it would look flattering on all. The colors are so rich that you are sure to be the eye candy in the crowd. Since mixing colors has been quite the ‘it’ thing this year, our designers have thoughtfully mix matched the colors to keep you fashion forward. Be rest assured that you will not feel anything less than a diva in our exclusive wedding collection.

Enough said, let me treat your eyes with some of the prime designs to get you through the wedding ceremony effortlessly.

The Indian Wedding Season: Happening Haldi Ceremony

Welcome to the part 4 of The Indian wedding series.

I have already taken you through dressing ideas for the pre-wedding rituals in the previous posts of this series. Now let’s talk about the Haldi ceremony, shall we?

The haldi ceremony holds a very significant importance in the splendid Indian weddings. It’s a close affair organized at both the grooms and brides place individually and therefore I suggest one should go with clothes that allow you easy movement and is lightweight; pair it with delicate jewelry and minimal makeup. Since this is mostly a morning event, bright and appealing shades of colors like yellow, orange or pink would make a perfect pick for the fashion plate that you are. In my view, either a lehenga and a beautiful blouse or a bright colored saree or salwar kameez would be perfect for this occasion.

Vivid colored dresses usually pump up the energy of the one wearing it and also lighten up the mood. Yellow closely associated with sunshine and happiness also happens to be the color of the turmeric paste which is the central purpose of celebrating this function. The joy of dressing is an art and therefore we bring you a collection of clothes that are sure to cheer you up for this occasion. You won’t believe how effortless it can be to look and feel good wearing these dresses until you try them for yourself. They are depiction of good taste and comfort. While you will be rejoicing in these fashionable outfits, others will be busy admiring your style. After all, one can never go wrong with dazzling bright colors.

Herewith I am attaching a few dresses that you can pick for the haldi function without putting a hole in your pocket. These dresses are available exclusively on Admyrin. And you already know what to do to buy them (click on the pictures).

The Indian Wedding Season: Sangeet Night

Hello Sugar,

Now that you have made it through the Mehendi ceremony, its time to get ready to twirl, swirl and whirl at the Sangeet night. Trust me, Sangeet night is the most fun part about the wedding. All the lovely dance performances, and dancing on the tunes of EDM or Dhol in the end is going to make the night fun filled. Usually the dance moves are well choreographed before the Sangeet night and so it’s best to select a dress that would look great during the performance as well as be comfortable to dance in.

All the dancing and moving around is going to take a toll on your stamina and feet. Therefore it becomes at most important to select your costume very smartly. I suggest wearing something flowy and light weight so that you can move around freely during the function. Also keep in mind the length of the dress, for I am sure you want to enjoy the performances instead of taking care of the dress. Wear footwear that is comfortable and not very high heeled. Select wearing wedges or platform heels if you must wear heels. Selecting an overall light weight look doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t have fun with the accessories. Try all the experiments with it. Add a mang tika or even a nose ring. Opt for elegant pieces of necklaces and earrings.

You can opt for a beautiful lehenga choli, or even go for an ethnic anarkali or salwar kameez. When selecting a dress, sky is the limit. And therefore I am going to make it a bit easier for you to pick the right dress for the dance night by assembling a few attires from our favorite ADMYRIN

The Indian wedding season: Mehendi Meet

Hola Sweeties.

Welcome back to the Admyrin blog. Now that the Engagement party is over, it’s time to prep up for the Mehendi function. This all ladies function is fun and artistic. Special talented team of people is called to apply Mehendi to the bride’s hands and feet along with her close friends and family members. This function is also celebrated at the groom’s side where all the ladies get together to have fun, relax and get their hands painted with henna. According to the Indian rituals, a bride is incomplete without her Mehendi.

The Mehendi ceremony is a private affair and the function can be organized either on a small or medium scale. Emphasis is laid on the amount of color reflected in the brides Mehendi and it’s considered as a measurement of love of the to-be-groom for his bride. At most occasions you may also witness the ladies singing, dancing and having fun on this occasion.

As far as the dressing is concerned, Admyrin has got you covered for this function too. I suggest you keep the dressing simple and comfortable since you may have to sit with patience while the artists show their skill by applying Mehendi on your hands. You can add delicate maang tika or exclusive earrings to oomph up the look. One thing to mind well here is that don’t wear dresses with full sleeves. Also if you are planning to wear something that involves a dupatta, make sure you tuck it on the shoulder so you don’t have to keep handling it all the time.

Below are a few dresses shortlisted by me from the vast collection of Admyrin that can help you look amazing during the Mehendi ceremony. Click on the pictures to buy the dress.

The Indian wedding season: The elegant engagement party

Hello lovely ladies.

The wedding season has already begun in all its glory. Indian weddings are known all over for its grandeur. The big fat Indian wedding is not a single day affair, but more of a festival in itself. I am going to do a series of post for all you lovely readers under “The Indian wedding season” title where I will be suggesting you set of clothes according to each function of the wedding celebration which are exclusively available at ADMYRIN.

There are various rituals in the Indian culture before the main wedding event. These pre-

wedding functions or rituals include Roka, Engagement, Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, Marriage and the reception. The bride and grooms friends and family get together to witness this grand event of two people who vow to stay together for their lifetime as husband and wife.

The foremost celebration in the wedding occasion is the engagement party or more commonly known as ring ceremony where the to-be-bride and groom exchange rings.  This party embarks the beginning of the wedding concord. The exchanging of rings is then followed by a brief lunch or dinner party. To dress for this occasion, one can choose to wear glam gowns which are not very over the top, or choose a wear a flowy maxi dress for a sunset beach party. But remember to keep the attire to a minimal as you would have more functions to come where you can flaunt the heavy embroidered dresses.

Below are the few dresses that you can pick for the coming engagement party of either your friends or family members. Also, you can click on the picture to buy the respective dress:
